નેશનલ એજ્યુકેશન પોલીસી – 2020 ના અમલીકરણ સંદર્ભનો બે દિવસીય નેશનલ સેમીનાર આબુરોડ મુકામે યોજાયો હતો. ઓલ ઇન્ડિયા કોલેજ પ્રિન્સીપાલ્સ એશોશીએશન તથા સતલાસણા કોલેજના સંયુક્ત ઉપક્રમે યોજાયેલ આ રાષ્ટ્રીય સંગોષ્ઠીમાં મુખ્ય મહેમાન તરીકે ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટીના કુલપતી ડૉ.નિરજા ગુપ્તાએ કહ્યું હતુ કે નવી એજ્યુકેશન પોલીસી લાગુ થવાથી ભારતીય પરંપરા, તેનો ભવ્ય વારસો તથા સંસ્કૃતીથી દેશની નવી પેઢીને જાણકારી મળશે. સેમીનારના અતિથિ વિશેષ તરીકે પાટણ યુનિવર્સિટીના કુલપતી રોહીત દેસાઈએ નવી પોલીસી સંદર્ભે કહ્યું હતુ કે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને પોતાના મનગમતા વિષયો તથા સ્કીલ બેઝડ કોર્ષીસ ભણવા મળશે જેનાથી આત્મનિર્ભર ભારત બની શકશે. સતલાસણા કોલેજના પ્રિન્સીપાલ જયેશ બારોટે શિક્ષણનીતિ તથા યુનિવર્સિટીના કોમન એક્ટ સંદર્ભે છણાવટ કરી હતી. ઓલ ઇન્ડિયા કોલેજ પ્રિન્સીપાલ્સ એશોશીએશનના પ્રમુખ સંજય વકીલે કહ્યું હતુ કે પરિવર્તન એ સંસારનો નિયમ છે. વૈશ્વીક ક્ષેત્રે વિવિધ પ્રકલ્પો વિશ્વમાં આવી રહ્યાં છે. ટેકનોલોજીના ક્ષેત્રમાં અચંબામાં પડી જવાય તેવા રીસર્ચ થઇ રહ્યા છે. ભારત દેશ આર્થીક ક્ષેત્રે ઘણીજ મજબુતાઈથી આગળ વધી રહ્યો છે જેમાં શિક્ષણનો સિંહફાળો છે. તેથી શિક્ષણમાં આમૂલ ફેરફારો એપેક્ષીત છે. દેશની યુવા પેઢી વૈશ્વીક સ્તરે પોતાનું સ્થાન બનાવી શકે તથા સ્પર્ધામાં ટકી શકે તેવા શિક્ષણનું અમલીકરણ થવા જઈ રહ્યું છે. ભારતની ઓળખ યંગ ઇન્ડિયા તરીકે નહી પરંતુ સ્ટ્રોંગ ઇન્ડિયા તરીકે ઓળખાય તે વધારે જરૂરી છે. આ નેશનલ સેમીનારમાં કલકત્તા, ઓરીસ્સા, કર્ણાટક તથા ગુજરાત રાજ્યના આચાર્યો તથા અધ્યાપકોએ ભાગ લીધો હતો.
