Aum Adhyaru Turns Gujarat Law Society (GLS) Gym into a Thrilling Arm-Wrestling Showcase
Ahmedabad On 27 May 2023, Gujarat Law Society’s gym Fittwave hosted a high-energy arm-wrestling competition conceptualized and executed entirely by young 17-year-old founder Aum Adhyaru and his organisation. The event, which ran from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., brought together around 140 attendees and featured 78 competitors across three divisions-two men’s weight categories and one women’s category.

What made the event stand out was its end-to-end execution. Adhyaru’s organisation handled everything independently: registration systems, budgeting, marketing collaborations, sponsor outreach, securing professional referees and tables, venue coordination and event logistics. A strong network of partners added to the event’s scale, including Rushil Decor Ltd (a publicly listed company), Keystone Universe of Education, Weekend Window, Media 57, Helly Print Ink, and more. Prize support was provided in collaboration with AR Fitness, GetTough, and others.
Winners and participants received an impressive range of prizes including a one-year gym membership, supplements, branded goodies, hampers, medals, certificates – and many more rewards contributed by partner brands and sponsors. The smooth execution, high energy and professional setup left participants and spectators with a memorable experience.
Notable speakers included Anuja Nanavati, Aviey Verma and Rinku Rawat, who joined Adhyaru on stage to speak about sport, discipline, entrepreneurship and community engagement. Their presence added an inspirational layer to an event that aimed not only to entertain, but to introduce more people to arm-wrestling and strengthen Ahmedabad’s growing fitness culture.
The event was both impactful and financially profitable. Attendance exceeded expectations. brand visibility for partners was strong, and the competition helped increase awareness of arm-wrestling as an accessible and competitive sport within university and gym communities.
About the organiser:
Aum Adhyaru has been business-minded from an early age, beginning his entrepreneurial journey in fourth grade (age 9) by selling loom bands at the Weekend Window front desk to learn the basics of sales and customer interaction. What started as a childhood curiosity has since evolved into larger initiatives including arm-wrestling events, other event management projects, and multiple additional ventures. He has now expanded his focus toward the wellness and nutraceutical sector, aiming to build meaningful offerings that combine health, performance and entrepreneurship.

The success of the event underscores how youth initiative, strong planning and strategic partnerships can create large-scale, impactful experiences setting a blueprint for more sporting and entrepreneurial events led by emerging founders like Adhyaru.
