અમદાવાદ ના બોપલ વિસ્તારમાં આવેલા આરોહી ટવીન બંગલોઝના રહેવાસી એવા મહિલા કલાકાર જોલીબેન સુરતી જેમનો જન્મ 28 ફેબ્રુઆરી 1962 ના રોજ થયેલ છે. તે સ્વ-શિક્ષિત કલાકાર છે. તેઓએ ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટીમાંથી બેચલર ઓફ આર્ટસ મા અભ્યાસ કર્યો છે.તેમને નાનપણથી જ કલામાં ખૂબ જ રસ હતો. પણ લગ્ન બાદ સાંસારિક જવાબદારી ના કારણે તેઓ કલા ક્ષેત્રે ખાસ કામ ના કરી શકયા. પણ હાલમાં આ ઉમરે એમને કશું ક કરી જવાના દઢ નિશ્ર્ચિતા સાથે કામ કરવાનુ ચાલુ કર્યુ. અને આ કરેલા કામ ને શ્રી સ્વપ્નીલ આચાર્ય ના માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ હાઇ રેન્જ વલ્ડૅ બુક ઓફ રેકોર્ડ મા નોંધણી થઈ છે અને તેમને સન્માન કરવા માટે એવોર્ડ સેરેમની નુ આયોજન 9 ઓક્ટોબર ના રોજ આરોહી ટવીન બંગલોઝના કલબ હાઉસમા કરવામાં આવ્યુ હતુ. જેમાં મુખ્ય મહેમાન તરીકે શ્રી સ્વપ્નીલ આચાર્ય કે જેઓ વલ્ડૅ રેકોર્ડ ના બ્રાન્ડ એમ્બેસેડર, આર્ટ કયુરેટર અને લેખક છે. સાથે માનનીય મહેમાનો મા શ્રી જય પંચોલી કે જેઓ સી એન ફાઇન આર્ટ કોલેજ ના પ્રોફેસર હતા, શ્રી રાજેશ બારૈયા જેઓ સી એન ફાઇન આર્ટ કોલેજ ના પ્રોફેસર છે, શ્રીમતી કેના મુલતાની કે જેઓ આંતરાષ્ટ્રીય કલાકાર છે. સાથે વિશેષ મહેમાનોમાં દેવાંગભાઈ દાણી (ચેરમેન ઓફ સ્ટેન્ડિંગ કમિટી (એ.એમ.સી), પ્રજ્ઞેશભાઇ પટેલ (મંત્રી કર્ણાવતી મહાનગર- બીજેપી), દિપ્તીબેન અમરકોટીયા ( વુમન્સ એન્ડ ચાઈલ્ડ ડેવલપમેન્ટ- (એ. એમ. સી) , કાન્તિ ભાઇ પટેલ અને વાસંતીબેન પટેલ (બોડકદેવ કોર્પોરેટર ) ઉપસ્થિત હતા. આમંત્રિત મહાનુભવો, તથા મહેમાનો ના હસ્તે દિપ પ્રાગટ્ય કરીને કાર્યક્રમ ની શરૂઆત કરવામા આવી તથા મહેમાનો નુ પુષ્યગુચ્છ થી સ્વાગત કરાયુ હતુ,આંતર રાષ્ટ્રીય સંગ્રહાધ્યક્ષ અને વલ્ડૅ રેકોર્ડ કંપની ના ના બ્રાન્ડ એમ્બેસેડર સ્વપ્નિલ આચાર્ય તથા સર્વે આમંત્રિત મહેમાનોની ઉપસ્થિતિમાં કલાકાર જોલીબેન સુરતી ને એવોર્ડ થી સન્માન કરવામાં આવ્યુ. એવોર્ડ સમારોહમા જોલીબેન સુરતી ના પરિવાર જનો, સગા સંબંધીઓ તથા સોસાયટી ના પડોશીઓની પણ મોટી સંખ્યા મા ઉપસ્થિતિ રહી હતી.
