કળિયુગમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ વસ્તુ છે:સાધુનો સંગ.
ભરોસો ગુરુનાં ચરણમાં,વિશ્વાસ ગુરુનાં વચન ઉપર અને શ્રદ્ધા ગુરુનાં હ્રદયમાં રાખવી.
કબીરધામ વાવડીથી પ્રવાહિત રામકથાનાં આઠમા દિવસની શરૂઆત એક નાનકડા પ્રશ્નથી થઈ.કથાની બીજ પંક્તિ રૂપે જે દોહો લીધેલો છે:જે શ્રદ્ધા સંબલ રહિત,નહીં સંતન કર સાથ…અહીં ત્રણ વસ્તુ છે પ્રશ્ન પૂછાયો કે:આ ત્રણમાંથી કોઈ એક પકડી શકીએ એ શું હોઈ શકે?કારણ કે શ્રદ્ધા રાખવા જઈએ અને હેતુ સિદ્ધ ન થાય તો શ્રદ્ધા ડગમગી જાય છે,જેના પર શ્રદ્ધા રાખીએ એના વર્તન વિચારોનાં કારણે ડોલી જવાય છે,પરમાત્માના ચરણમાં અખંડ પ્રીતિ રહેતી નથી,પરમાત્મા નિરંતર પ્રિય લાગતો નથી,તો શું કરવું જોઈએ?તુલસીદાસજી બધી જ વસ્તુના અંતે એક જ સાર કહે છે:મને પરમાત્મા નિરંતર પ્રિય લાગજો . બાપુએ કહ્યું કે આમ તો આ ત્રણેય જરૂરી છે, છતાં કળિયુગને કારણે એમાંથી પસંદ કરવું હોય, શ્રદ્ધા, પ્રભુપ્રિયતા,સાધુસંગ આ ત્રણ ન કરી શકીએ એક જ કરવું હોય તો સાધુનો સંગ કરવો.કારણ કે આપણી શ્રદ્ધાનું નક્કી નહીં,આપણને હરિ કેટલો વહાલો એ આપણું કંઈ ઠેકાણું નહીં.સાધુનો સંગ કરી લેવો અને મોજ આવશે તો એ જ સાધુ આપણને દાન કરશે.પ્રશ્ન એ પણ ઊઠે કે એવો સાધુ મળે ક્યાં? મળે તો ઓળખવો કેમ?અહીં પણ સાધુનો સંગ જ કરવો,સેવા પણ નહીં.કળિયુગમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ વસ્તુ છે સાધુનો સંગ.એ જ સાધુ હરિ વહાલો લાગે એવું કરી દેશે.આપણે ત્યાં સંત,સાધુ,વૈષ્ણવ,ભક્ત,જન,દાસ, સેવક,સજ્જન-આ બધા જ શબ્દો,જે એકબીજાના પર્યાય ગણાય છે.પણ એમાં સાધુ શબ્દની તોલે કોઈ નહીં આવે.સંસ્કૃતમાં મહિમા કે જ્યારે-જ્યારે કોઈ દિવ્ય ઘટના ઘટે છે ત્યારે સાધુ-સાધુ શબ્દોનું ઉચ્ચારણ થાય છે.કબીર પણ કહે છે સુનો ભાઈ સાધુ! અહીં એનો એમ પણ અર્થ થાય કે ભાઈઓ તમે હવે સાધી લો.આ પંથકમાં અનેક મહાપુરુષો થયા.ભાવનગરના મહાપુરુષ ગણાય છે એ દિવાન પ્રભાશંકર પટ્ટણી મોરબીના હતા.શ્રીમદ રાજચંદ્ર વવાણીયાનાં છે. કબીર કહે છે:
કબીરા મન નિર્મલ ભયો,જૈસે ગંગા નીર;
પીછે પીછે હરિ ફીરે કહત કબીર,કબીર.
પરમાત્મા કઈ વસ્તુ જોઈ સાધકને યાદ કરે છે? સાધકનો પ્રેમ,શીલ અને એની સેવાને કારણે યાદ કરે છે.આપણા અંતર બાહ્ય રોગનો ભય મટાડી દે એ સાધુ છે.ઉપનિષદકાર કહે છે કે બ્રાહ્મણ,અન્ન અને મન એ બ્રહ્મ છે.વિશ્વામિત્ર અને વશિષ્ઠ આપણે ત્યાં બહુ જ મહાન ઋષિઓ થયા.વિશ્વામિત્ર ગાયત્રી મંત્રના અધિષ્ઠાતા જ્યારે વશિષ્ઠ મહામૃત્યુંજય મંત્રના સાધક-પ્રતિષ્ઠાતા માનવામાં આવે છે.
કથાપ્રવાહમાં નામકરણ સંસ્કારમાં રામ લક્ષ્મણ ભરત અને શત્રુઘ્નના વિવિધ રીતે નામની સંવાદી કથા બાદ બાલકાંડમાં બધાનો સમન્વય બધાના મિલનની જ વાત છે.અહીં વિશ્વામિત્ર-વસિષ્ઠનું જોડાણ દર્શાવાયુ છે.રામ અને ઋષિઓનું મિલન,ગૌતમ અને અહલ્યાનું મિલન,રામ-જનકનું મિલન,રામ અને મિથિલાનાં લોકોનું મિલન,રામ અને સિતાનું મિલન આવા મિલનના પ્રસંગો પ્રધાન છે.
સંક્ષિપ્તમાં બાલકાંડ બાદ સમાસ પધ્ધતિથી વિધ વિધ કાંડની સંવાદી કથાનાં પ્રસંગોને અંતે સેતુબંધ રામેશ્વરની સ્થાપના, રામ-રાવણના યુધ્ધ,રાવણને નિર્વાણ બાદ રામ રાજ્યાભિષેકનો પ્રસંગ ગવાયો.
આવતિકાલે શેષ કથા સવારે ૯ વાગે શરૂ થઇ કથાની પૂર્ણાહૂતિ થશે.
