Talgajarda: Many parts of North India, especially Himachal Pradesh, have been experiencing heavy to extremely heavy rains in the last few days, causing significant damage to properties and loss of lives. According to new reports, the losses are to the one of more than Rs. 7,000 crore in Himachal Pradesh alone. The massive downpour and flooding has led to erosion of land and washed away homes in Shimla and surrounding areas, resulting in the death of more than 60 people. The death toll is expected to rise further.
Noted spiritual leader and exponent of Ramcharit Manas, Morari Bapu, has paid tributes to the deceased persons. He has also dedicated a compensation of Rs. 15,000 to the families of each of the 60 deceased persons. The total assistance amounts to Rs. 9 lakh.
Details about the deceased persons and their immediate family members are being gathered from local authorities in Himachal Pradesh. The financial assistance would be delivered to the bereaved families on behalf of Morari Bapu by followers of Ramkatha in Himachal Pradesh.
Respected Morari Bapu has offered prayers at the feet of Lord Hanuman for the salvation of those who have lost their lives and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
