New Delhi, Aug 07, 2023: NSDC International Limited (NSDCI), a 100% subsidiary of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has signed an Agreement with Technosmile Inc (Technosmile), a leading Japanese human resource company providing foreign recruitment services for aspiring candidates to augment their employment avenues in Japan.
The collaboration envisions to empower individuals with foreign language proficiency by combining academic knowledge and exposing them to real-world work environments, thereby, facilitating their smooth employment transition into international working environments. The agreement was signed and exchanged between Shri Ajay Kumar Raina, Director, and COO, NSDC International and Mr. Yuzuru Mamizuka, Chairman and President, Technosmile Inc.
Speaking on the collaboration, Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC & MD, NSDC International said, “Japan is one of the most sought after and preferred destinations for skilled professionals across diverse industries. Empowering individuals with quality language training will play a pivotal role in closing linguistic barriers and propelling career advancement. This partnership reflects our commitment to fostering global opportunities for our talented youth. We enable them to make a mark on the international stage and contribute to both nations’ growth and progress. Together, we will build a bridge of excellence, empowering our youth’s aspirations and strengthening the bonds between India and Japan. Our collaboration with Technosmile is a testament to fostering global cooperation, building knowledge and capacities, and boosting employment prospects for youth in international job markets.”
Mr. Yuzuru Mamizuka said that “The proportion of foreign talent in Japan’s labor force is only about 2%, which is significantly lower compared to the G7 countries where it exceeds 10%. In Japan there are high expectations for foreign talent. As Technosmile, we aim to be a human resource service company focused on “nurturing and developing” individuals, acting as a bridge between outstanding talent from NSDCI and Japan’s industrial sector. We aspire to support the growth of Indian youth and contribute to the development of both countries’ industries for future.”
Under the programme, NSDC International will meticulously identify, and screen candidates based on the job specifications, including candidate eligibility and technical requirements. It will also provide training centre equipped with quality instructors and modern language learning resources to promote seamless Japanese language training of the candidates and will also focus on honing communicational skills, vocabulary, and providing industry driven curriculum to make them an active participant in the volatile job market.
To promote the employment of skilled workforce in Japan, Technosmile is engaged with diverse set of clients and industries to foster an efficient and fruitful mobility of talent to Japan. Furthermore, their close collaboration with overseas companies allows them to gather detailed requirements for specific job roles that enables candidates to undergo training, acquire necessitate skills and enhance their employability.
