As a Breast Cancer Specialist, i must add that much needs to be done at the level of creating awareness among women about this number 1 Cancer in women in India. *There has been a steep rise in the incidence and it is happening to women of much younger age. EARLY DETECTION and good surgery will spare the patients from receiving Chemotherapy and suffering from its ill effects.* Women must do a Self Breast Examination once every month after their periods (examine with fingers, no thumb). We emphasize this in all our Women’s Health Talk Shows. It will help us help you.
