Hyderabad, August , 2023: More than 1005 Optum employees ran in the Hyderabad Marathon on Sunday, August 27, 2023.<\/p>\n
The Optum team comprised 841 men and 164 women runners, who took part in the forty-two kilometres full marathon, the twenty-one kilometres half marathon, as well as the ten and five-kilometre races.<\/p>\n
Every year, to prepare for this event, LiveWell, the holistic employee well-being program at Optum, encourages and supports employees in their fitness journeys, providing trusted expert guidance on nutrition, fitness, and coaching.<\/p>\n
Optum had also sponsored a practice run on August 6, 2023.<\/p>\n
Speaking on employee participation, Uma Ratnam Krishnan, Managing Director – India, Optum Global Solutions, said: \u201cOur strength in numbers at the Hyderabad marathon is a testament to our unified goal at Optum, to build a health care system that works better for all those we serve, including our employees.
