આજે દુનિયાના સમગ્ર અપંગ સમુદાય માટે મોટિવેશન મેળવવાનું ઉદાહરણ બની રહયું છે.
આ છોકરીએ 22-24 વર્ષની વયે મુંબઈમાં સોફ્ટવેર એન્જીનીયર તરીકે નોકરી કરી અને ઘરે પાછી આવતા એક્સીડેન્ટમાં પોતાનો એક પગ ગુમાવી દીધો.
આ અકસ્માત પછી હતાશ થઈને બેસવાની જગ્યાએ બેડમિન્ટન પ્રેક્ટિસ શરુ કરી અને અત્યાર સુધીમાં 28 ઇન્ટરનેશનલ ટૂર્નામેન્ટ જીતી ચુકી છે.
માનસી જોશીના પિતાજી ભાભા એટમિક રિસર્ચ સેન્ટરમાં વૈજ્ઞાનિક છે.
માનસી જોશીની જિંદગી એટલી પ્રેરણાત્મક બની કે દુનિયાનું સૌથી મોટું મેગેઝીન જેણે ગાંધીજીનો ફોટો પણ કવર પેજ ઉપર નથી મુક્યો.
તેઓએ પોતાના કવર પેજ ઉપર મોટિવેશન ગર્લ તરીકે માનસી જોશીનો ફોટો મુક્યો.
બાર્બી ડોલની કંપની વાળાએ સ્પેશિયલ માનસી બેનની પ્રતિકૃતિ સ્વરૂપ બાર્બી ડોલ બાળકોને રમવા પ્રકાશિત કરી જે ખુબ ખુબ મોટું ઇન્ટરનૅશન બહુમાન કહેવાય.
