CEPT University launched its Winter Exhibition 2020 on 12th December, 5 pm, through a website launch. The biannual exhibition will be available on exhibition.cept.ac.in.
The exhibition is in continuation with the Monsoon Semester, which was conducted completely online.
The virtual exhibition showcases work by students over 1800 students of UG and PG programs from all five faculties: Architecture, Planning, Technology, Design and Management. The exhibition collated and curated the best of the work through drawings, graphics, videos and other more. The exhibition was inaugurated by CEPT University President Dr Bimal Patel and an interesting walkthrough of the exhibition was conducted by Prof Jay Thakkar.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Bimal Patel said, “This is a tremendous result that we have accomplished despite the challenges of online teaching. We should continue the idea of online exhibition in future as well, as it allows us to reach a wider group of people. We look forward to meeting students face-to-face in the coming semester. However, we have learnt many new things in the last few months, and we will build on these lessons as we go forward.”
The exhibition, over the next week December 14 to 17, will also host a few interesting webinars and/or virtual tours by faculty coordinators, professors, tutors and students, to give you a better understanding of the website as well as the student’s work.
The launch of the virtual exhibition through a web portal, witnessed an august gathering online, of close to, 300 people.
