Gujarat Travel & Tourism Excellence Award-2020 will be given
by TCGL for the first time to the organizations and individuals who have contributed in the tourism sector of the state
For the first time, Gujarat Trvel & Tourism Excellence Award – 2020 are organized by Gujarat Tourism Corporation Limited (TGCL) to honor the organizations and individuals who have contributed to the tourism sector of the state. This event will be organized in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Vijay Rupani. Considering the Covid-19 pandemic, a virtual event will be organized.
There will be a live telecast of the award ceremony on the official facebook page of Gujarat Tourism Corporation Limited at 4.30 p.m. on 25th September, 2020. All the citizens of the state can join the event at https://.www.facebook.com/gujtourism
Tourism Minister of the state Shri Jawahar Chavda, State level Tourism Minister Shri Vasan Ahir, Secretary of the Tourism department Mrs. Mamata Varma and Managing Director of Gujarat Tourism Corporation Limited Shri Jenu Diwan and other people associated with the tourism sector will remain present in the Gujarat Travel & Tourism Excellence Award – 2020.
The awards will be given in the 13 different categories including Accommodation Facility, Tour Operator, Travel Fleet Operator, Tourist Infrastructure Project, Blogger, Photographer, Gujarati Cuisine Restaurant, Technology, Leading tourism initiative by a district, Banquet / Convention Facility, Tour Guide, Tourism Event Organizing Agency and Special Jury Awards.
Vinod Zutshiji, Former Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, PK Laheriji, Former Chief Secretary, Government of Gujarat, Nasir Rafiqji, Advisor to State Institute of Hotel Management and Ms. Pallavi Mehra, Group Director and Publisher of Travel Trends Today have served as Jury members to decide the winners of Gujarat Trvel & Tourism Excellence Award – 2020.
