BECAME THE NEW MUSIC SENSATION OF GUJARAT

Famous Gujarati Khairya Yogita Patel became a new sensational voice in the Gujarati Folk Music Industry. A small-town girl Yogita Patel belongs to a very small town named Mithapur (Chalala) in the Amreli District. At the age of 9,she decided to do something big in her life and genuinely believed making it possible and at a very young age, she started her career as a folk artist. She appeared in plenty of live shows in various known regions like Sangli in Puna (Maharashtra), Rajkot and Amreli in Gujarat etc. She is not only a singer but also a good music composer too. She has also written some of the Gujarati songs for her album. Her well-known albums are Ame Kanbi Kathiyawadi,Parewadu, Panetar, Ladkdi and Avsar na Todle.Yogita Patel (Khiraiya) had also performed with many popular GujaratiSingers like – Kirtidan Gadhvi, Mayabhai Aahir, Rajbha Gadhavi, Sairam Dave,Khimji Bharvad etc… Her melodious voice, kindness and jolly nature attract many show organizers and composers towards her.Being the only to her parents she is very close to them. Financially she did not
belong to a sound and wealthy family as her father was merely doing farming and earning a variable chunk, but these hurdles are could not let her down.Her faith and belief to do something big out of her life keep her moving on.Despite such adversity she managed to complete her Bachelor of Arts in
English Literature along with her favorite subject Sangeet Visharad, she
received a degree from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva University Sangli,Maharashtra. Thus her journey of being a star has actually started.When she was nine, she got an opportunity to sing in order to raise funds for a
building in the nearby village Jesingpara, Amreli, where she was awarded 50 rupees for her performance and from that moment she decided destiny were written to become a singer.
Yogita’s academic was so well as in 12th, she passed with 99 marks out of 100 in Music subject. Thus her parents got to know that Music is her first true love and her passion, dedication and love towards singing helped a lot in her career. Her parents always motivated her to shape and nurture her career in Gujarati Music Industry.After getting married to a private school teacher she never thought that she can ever make it possible but her husband and In-laws proved her wrong and
became her back-bone to fulfill her desire. Yogita’s career took a long jump because of their support and since then she never looked back.
