FICCI FLO Ahmedabad Chapter holds interactive session with Gaurav Gupta  Post covid-19 Zomato comes with a safety max tag, which indicates the restaurant is following all safety measures declared by WHO.          Food centricity is at heart of zomato: Gaurav Gupta FICCI FLO Ahmedabad Chapter today organized an insightful session with Mr. Gaurav Gupta (Founder & COO of India’s leading food delivery platform Zomato) which was attended by Chairperson, Taruna Patel and Committee members.
Sharing his insights with the participants, Mr. Gaurav Gupta said, “Covid-19 has completely changed the world around us and we have to adopt new techniques, strategies and plans to remain relevant in future. The present is very critical for all of us and as a leading food delivery platform, Zomato has taken innovative steps to ensure safe food deliveries at the doorstep of the customers while maintaining quality”.
He added “the lockdown has significantly impacted food orders, but post Covid-19 our monthly orders have reached the one million mark. Delivery of ordered food in minimum time, with the assurance of quality & hygiene to customers, is very important and we diligently adhere to it. Kitchen hygiene, and raw material ratings are a part of the sales window.  To create a better food experience for the customer, we provide them options like Zomato Gold, Zomato Pay & Zomato Pro”.
The food industry has expanded exponentially in many business models over the last five years. Online food order service is a revolution in the Food Industry, and Zomato has consolidated its position with its innovative offerings. In India, a person consumes an average 100 meals in a month out of which he/she would have ordered food online, approximately 3 or 4 times. Zomato is focusing on the ramping up of these numbers and online orders.
The dynamic chairperson of FICCI FLO Ahmedabad chapter, Mrs. Taruna Patel who is also associated with the Food & Hospitality Industry for over a decade in her capacity as CEO of Madhubhan Resort & Spa said “Post Covid-19 the customer emphasis is more on healthy food with stringent hygiene parameters. Due to this, the demand for organic food has raised.”
Mr. Gupta answered all the questions of the members. Aditi Parekh introduced Mr. Gupta, and Mrs. Malvika Jain, who has a decade of experience in anchoring and journalism, was the moderator. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Rachna Gemawat.
