Ahmedabad: The 2nd edition of TPF Global Connect, organised by Terapanth Professional Forum (TPF), an organisation of highly qualified professionals and entrepreneurs belonging to the Jain Terapanth Samaj, commenced on Friday.
TPF Global Connect is aimed at creating a platform where people can interact with achievers and successful personalities and learn from them how they can contribute to enterprise creation, growth and socio-economic development.
“This age is all about forging new connections and networks. The TPF Global Connect is our humble attempt to bring together the many successful entrepreneurs and professionals within the Jain Terapanth Samaj on the same platform and facilitate interactions and knowledge-sharing. It is our fortune to welcome renowned speakers, professionals and business leaders from across the country to this three-day event,” said Rakesh Gugaliya, President of TPF, Ahmedabad.
Sudhir Mehta, Chairperson of Torrent Pharmaceuticals and Ganpathraj Choudhary was the chief guest at the inaugural session of TPF Global Connect. The session was also graced by Muni Shri Rajnishkumarji, the spiritual mentor of TPF.
“India has taken giant strides in development in the last nine years under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India has been acknowledged and recognised as a global superpower due to his efforts. The country has come a long way since independence, but we have a lot of work to do to make India a world leader. I have no doubt that India will achieve its rightful place in the global order by 2047,” home minister Harsh Sanghavi said in his address on the topic “India @2047 (100 years of India’s independence).
“Even though economic challenges loom at the global level, India has come out stronger of the Covid-19 pandemic. India is expected to be among the fastest-growing major economies this year and the next. As a country, we need to aim for a higher growth rate to ensure we can create adequate livelihood opportunities for the millions of youngsters passing out of college each year. We must make the most of our unique demographic dividend to scale new highs in the next 25 years,” said Mr Mehta.
In a later session, renowned life management coach Parikshit Jobanputra shared his thoughts on the topic “Understanding your child”. It was followed by producer Mahaveer Jain speaking about Jain lifestyle principles in the film industry. Dharamchand Jain, Additional Director with CBI, and Supreme Court lawyer Dr Harsh Surana presented some interesting facts about white-collar crimes in another session. The day culminated with a gala dinner and cultural event.
The second day of TPF Global Connect will have Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat speaking on “Life’s vision statement” in the gracious presence of Acharya Shri Mahashraman ji. Interesting sessions on women as wealth creators, earning wealth of health, growing money, and unique business opportunities in Gujarat will also take place on the second day.
The third and final day of TPF Global Connect with have sessions by Anil Singhvi, managing editor of Zee Business, and Chandubhai Virani, Owner of Balaji Wafers.
